Hunting Southern Oregon
How fortunate Roe Outfitters is to be based in the heart of Southern Oregon’s Klamath County. There are a multitude of hunting opportunities.

Located in the heart of the Pacific Flyway finds us directly in the flight pattern of millions of migratory waterfowl annually. Hunting is on private land and Tulelake and Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuges and Upper Klamath Wildife Refuge.

If Big Game Hunting is your passion Roe Outfitters has access to hundreds of thousands of acres of private, Bureau of Land Management, and National Forest land to help you with your hunt. Oregon has an outfitter tag allocation for deer and elk that Roe Outfitters has been approved for. Landowner tags are available as well.

Roe Outfitters Upland Bird Hunting Program is conducted on the same private and public lands as other hunting opportunities. We specialize in California quail, Mountain quail, ruffed grouse, and blue grouse. Hunt over our German Shorthairs or bring your own favorite dog.

For the pure shooters out there, Spring has proven to be a great time for Varmint Hunting. Ground squirrels by the thousands are mowing down alfalfa crops. So, the V.E.U. (Varmint Extermination Unit) is employed and we go to work! This sport has been growing steadily over the past 5 years and everyone can enjoy the fun. To add to the day there is the occasional badger as well.

Lastly on the varmint list are coyotes. They are hunted from November to March. Spot and stalk or calling techniques are regularly used tactics.

Diversity in terrain ranges from farmlands to wetlands to sagebrush to forested hillsides lying against the Cascade Mountain Range.  The Southern Oregon region has so much to offer and we look forward to helping you discover it.
