Roe Cabin is located in Rocky Point Oregon in a peaceful spot at the base of the Cascade Mountains and a few minutes walk from Klamath Lake. Surrounded by pines there are just a few summer homes near by. This small community is on the west side of Klamath Lake approximately a 30 minute drive from Klamath Falls, 40 minutes to Crater Lake and an hours drive from Ashland and the famous Shakespearean Festival. With a few small markets and fantastic Rocky Point Restaurant you'll find nearly everything you'll need right here.

You'll enjoy the unique open structure of Roe Cabin with its big picture windows and vaulted ceilings. You can see the outdoors from nearly anywhere in the cabin.
Roe Cabin will sleep up to six people with one queen size bed, a set of bunk beds, and a full size futon bed. The set-up is great for families or groups of adventurers. Keep in mind that Roe Cabin does not have separate bedrooms. Sleeping and living areas are all common areas.  Of course the bathroom is private.
A TV and VCR with a movie selection are available but we've never tried hard to get a television station in. Choose from a board game selection and a variety of books as well. Convenient oil heat makes warming up a snap.  No need for a messy wood burning stove. 

A 10x10 dog run is available for our furry friends but PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE.  Please remember to clean the grounds after your pets.

Roe cabin is a nonsmoking cabin.

Another fantastic feature of Roe Cabin is its kitchen. This fully equipped kitchen make cooking up a fresh fish catch or a late morning breakfast a snap. Just bring what you want to cook. Some spices and basic supplies are available.  Coffee maker and microwave are available as are pots, pans, plates, full size refrigerator and range. 

All linens and towells are provided.  There is no need to bring along bedding or your sleeping bag.

Outside you'll find natural landscaping with plants indigenous to the region. Interesting stones and petrified wood can also be seen. Walk out the front door and begin a hike almost immediately on National Forest Land or just sit and watch the wildlife on one of our rustic seats set into the trees.

There is plenty of room to park a boat or snowmobile trailer and you can store your bikes in the shop.  A mile down the street is a public boat launch where you can access fishing on Klamath Lake or launch a canoe or kayak to explore the Upper Klamath Canoe Trails. 

At least 15 trailheads are within 20 minutes of the cabin including access to Mt McLauglin and the Pacific Crest Trail. For mountain bikers there are some excellent places to mountain bike on logging roads and even some single track downhill opportunites.

Birdwatchers will delight in several nearby access point for the Klamath Basin Birding Trail and the diverse viewing opportunities on the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail and wetlands area.

For fisherman, ROE Cabin offers a conveniet place to access many of the local rivers and lakes.  Here are the approximate driving times.
Klamath Lake - 2 minutes
Wood River - 15 minutes
Williamson River 25 minutes
Klamath River 30 minutes
Rogue River - 1 hour
Lake of the Woods 12 minutes
Four Mile Lake 15 minutes
